Class approval and stability calculations
Drawings and calculations prepared for classification societies and maritime authorities.
A vessel cannot operate until a class society or maritime authority approves its design. Approval rests on drawings and calculations that answer the rules, item by item.
We prepare intact and damage stability, the inclining test and lightship weight, structural scantlings and the approval drawing set, and we answer the reviewer’s comments until approval is issued.
We have done this for new builds, conversions and existing vessels, including Golden Boat, the first hotel ship in Egypt approved by a classification society.
