Grain loading floating station
Floating station for loading and unloading grain. Alexandria Port.

A floating station moves cargo between ships and shore without a fixed berth. For grain, that means carrying conveyors and handling equipment on a pontoon that stays stable as tonnes of cargo pass over it and the ship beside it rises and falls.
The station was designed as one structure: hull, equipment foundations and stability under every loading case. It remains the only station of its kind in the Middle East.
