Floating pontoons and jetties

A fixed quay stops working when the water level moves. A floating jetty rises and falls with it, so boats and passengers board at the same height all year.

We design the pontoon hull, its stability under load and crowds, the mooring or pile guides that hold it against current and wind, and the access bridge to the shore.

Our floating work includes a water intake on the Nile in Aswan and a grain loading station in Alexandria Port.
